Objects talking about the years between 1946 and 1981- a period of experimentation on materials, techniques and aesthetic codes.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The staging and the voices of the authors<\/strong><\/h4>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10937\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10937\" style=\"width: 380px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10936 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/targetpoint.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/2-\u00a9-Triennale-Milano-Gianluca-Di-Ioia-380x253.jpg\" alt=\"museo design - allestimeno\" width=\"380\" height=\"253\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10937\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Allestimento, visione di insieme &#8211; Foto di Gianluca di Ioia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The exhibition is developed in a strictly chronological order, from 1946 to 1981. A scan of time that is emphasized and contextualized throughout the exhibition path by a timeline that illustrates historical, political, social and folklore events in Italy and worldwide corresponding to the years when the shown objects are explained.<br \/>\nIn order to better understand the complete evolution of the objects, ad hoc wooden models have been created by Giovanni Sacchi, giving a solid rendering of the various steps that led to the realization of some of the exhibited works, from design to production.<br \/>\nTo accompany the visitor along the path of this new museum, some of the exhibits are described directly by the voices of the authors: they were asked to tell the origin of their creations and the cultural needs that had led to the idea and the final realization.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>The icons of Italian design<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Inside the museum collection there are many objects that have revolutionized consumption and habits, not only in Italy. Some of these have become real icons over time:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.olivettiani.org\/olivetti-lettera-22.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Olivetti\u2019s Letter 22<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Superleggera_(sedia)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ultra-light\u201d chair by Gi\u00f2 Ponti<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brionvega.it\/it\/design\/prodotti-storici\/ts502.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TS502 radio by Brionvega<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.klatmagazine.com\/design\/poltroncina-luisa-cassina\/44265\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Albini\u2019s \u201cLuisa\u201d armchair designed for Poggi<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lastampa.it\/2014\/06\/22\/societa\/moon-boot-anni-di-design-lunare-RaFuSHNQkdPDhSHRXLHU5K\/pagina.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Moon Boot boots<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>The first phase and the future of the Italian Design Museum<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The opening of the Museum is only the first phase of a project aiming to &#8211; in the short-medium term &#8211; enlarge the collection with targeted acquisitions and collaborations with public and private institutions.
